Whisper to Me (Between Breaths, #3)Whisper to Me by Christina Lee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received a reviewers copy through NetGalley.

I really loved this book. I started this series with book two because the description sounded really good and it didn't disappoint. I requested to review this book because Rachel's character intrigued me in book two. I really need to go back and read book one also because I absolutely love this authors writing style. Most people would probably argue that there isn't enough sex in these books but the sexual tension and chemistry more than makes up for it. I love a book when you can connect with the main characters right away. I felt the raw emotions from both Kai and Rachel's POV's. That is another thing I love about this series, the dual POV's. I love reading from the male perspective because it just adds more to a story.

I am going to start with Kai. He is everything you want in a BBF. He is smoking hot with his long hair, calloused musician hands, pierced...(I will let you find that one out on your own), his sweet loving personality, the protectiveness he has for Rachel and just the overall personality that always shines through with him. He is always thinking about Rachel and how to make her life better and easier and it just so damn sweet. I love Kai. His character really grew from the beginning and I was eager to find out what he was going to do with his new found outlook.

Alright let's get to Rachel. If you have read the other books in the series (or book 2 like me) you already know that Rachel was a carefree girl who just hooked up with jocks and then went about her business. Well, we find out that this is not who she is at all but who she wants people to see her as so she isn't treated differently. We find out that she had a devastating accident 3 year earlier and her boyfriend Miles really screwed with her head. After being thrown from a motorcycle and loosing many bodily functions with a bleak outlook on life and having her boyfriend break up with her because he couldn't deal with her recovery. Rachel pushed herself and made a full recovery with the help of her childhood best friend Kai...and let me tell you their story is filled with sexual tension.

This is good and I would definitely recommend as a quick sweet read with that HEA everyone is always rooting for.

Coming soon by Victoria Ashley Slade (Walk of Shame #1)!!!

Slade My name is Slade Merrick and I’m a f*cking sex addict . . .

They want me to seek help; get my c*ck in check. Don't judge my lifestyle. You’re no better than me. Just admit it, you like to f*ck too. Sex is what I do best; my own personal high, so I embrace it instead of being ashamed.

When I'm not f*cking, I'm slinging drinks at Walk Of Shame or stripping my way into your bed; another thing I'm good at. Every woman’s darkest fantasy brought to life. So, am I stopping? F*ck no. Sex is beautiful, raw and erotic and I get off knowing I can have it with anyone I want . . . with the exception of her.

Things get dirty. Dirty is what I like; it’s how I live. But . . . she’s playing a game she can never win.

Quintessentially Q (Monsters in the Dark, #2)Quintessentially Q by Pepper Winters
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This delectably dark series has fast become my guilty pleasure. I love Q and Tess...their different brand of dark and dirty is by far the most intense of all the dark and dirty I have read. This blows any other book that I have read way out of the water. It isn't just the kink factor that makes this book so awesome it is the horrible situations that the main characters find themselves in and waiting to see how everything will unravel. This is definitely one of my favorite series and it has topped the list!

Tears of Tess (Monsters in the Dark, #1)Tears of Tess by Pepper Winters
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is so gritty and dark. So many things that make you cringe but at the same time it is impossible to put the book down. I loved it. I loved Tess and her will not to be broken by her circumstances. Instead she rises to the occasion and embraces her darkness that eventually frees her. I hates complacent Tess from the beginning with her comfortable Brax. I hated that she bent to his likings more than asserting her wants. I loved her strength throughout her Mexican captivity even though she knew it wasn't for her own good she still fought not to be broken. The a she was sold...to who? Q hot rich man who wanted to break her but battled with his demons. I loved their fierce connections when they where together.

This book is riddled with so many dark things. If you dislike abuse, trafficking, submission and rape do NOT buy or read this book. It is not a sunshine and daisies type of read. It is soul sucking and will leave you reeling. It is fantastically written with even better characters that get into some scary situations. I am onto book 2.

Nothing Left to LoseNothing Left to Lose by Kirsty Moseley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I got this book for the amazing price of free dollars...wow!!! What a freaking steal, because this book is just awesome. I loved this book from the very beginning.

We meet Anna as a 16 year old just looking to have the best sweet 16 with her long time boyfriend Jack...but little did she know that her innocent wish of going to a club and losing her virginity to the boy of her dreams wasn't at all what life had planned for her.

We meet super HOT and SEXY SWAT Agent Ashton Taylor three years later when his assignment to to guard Senators troubled daughter, Anna. This is when we get to see Anna again after the horrific events she has had to face...watching her boyfriend get murdered, being kidnapped, beaten and raped all in just a few short months. She is now witchy with a B, standoffish and trains like a machine to protect herself.

Throughout this book we get to see how Ashton helps her come back to herself slowly but surely. We got to see their relationship grow and see how Anna comes back to life. Some pretty heavy stuff happens towards the end of the book, but what's a good book without some sort of drama. The action is pretty HOT especially told from Ashton's POV.

This book is great. It is pretty well written, with some great characters and the storyline plays out wonderfully. It is emotional, sweet, has a little bit of action and super sexy when it needs to be. I loved Anna and Ashton in this book and it was even better reading it in dual POV...that makes you appreciate Ashton and Anna so much more.

The only cons that I had with this book is that obviously the author is not American because you will find some spellings not typical to the American language as well as some of the things to character say...not a big deal to me but if you happen to be of the nit picking variety then steer clear and keep on looking.

Reclaiming the SandReclaiming the Sand by A. Meredith Walters
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is pretty great. You will love to hate Ellie and completely fall head over heels for Flynn. I loved being able to read from Flynn's teen POV. It was refreshing to read a book that is not your every day run of the mill scary bad boy tamed by quiet soft spoken good girl. This blows those books out of the water. This author did a very good job writing this book. I felt everything was authentic and well researched when it came to Flynn. As a mother it was very hard for me to read some of this story because of all the things Dania was carelessly and selfishly doing while being pregnant. I guess in the end she kind of redeemed herself. I wish there was more of Ellie and Flynn's story but the ending didn't disappoint either.

Bird After BirdBird After Bird by Leslea Tash
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was absolutely amazing. I loved it. It is different and refreshing. I loved the honesty that Laurie found that he couldn't hide when Wren was involved. It was a tad frustrating when Wren reverted to her old ways and left Laurie high and dry, but even when they weren't apart the story was still fantastic. I really really liked these two main characters and the relationship that sparked right off the bat. Great read.

This RegretThis Regret by Victoria Ashley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is fan-freaking-tastic...Kellan Haze can keep his word to me any day ;). Phoenix Winters has had a rough last eight years until she is taken to get her first tattoo and then her world is flipped upside down. Kade Haze made is first appearance in the nude with his morning glory and you couldn't help but kinda fall in love with him...that is until we meet his brother. This is a book with many twists and turns and it is never a dull read. I absolutely loved it from the first page until that very last punctuation make. I really like this authors writing style and I will be on the look out for more from her.

Mud VeinMud Vein by Tarryn Fisher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is just...wow! I was completely dumbfounded when the 'zookeeper' was revealed. I didn't see that one coming. This book is different from anything else I have ever read and that is definitely a good thing. Senna/Brenna has definitely has on craptastic life...throw in being abducted and held prisoner in the arctic tundra and that is just the icing on the very tall tiered cake of doom that is Senna/Brenna's life. I really enjoyed this book...from the beginning I was sucked in and I just had to know how it ended. Boy what an ending it was both fulfilling and emotional and a little bit of WTF?!? thrown in the mix too. I would definitely recommend this book.

That's a Lie (Promises, Promises, #2)That's a Lie by Victoria Klahr
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

One- I was gifted this book for an honest review...Two- Holy freaking cow Seth Montgomery can be my BFF any day...Three- I am absolutely hands down, no doubt about it in love with this series...Four- He who must not be names is a tool...Five- I can NOT wait for the third book because that epilogue definitely sucked me right back in after I was satisfied!

Okay so I already said that I was gifted this book front the Author through Crazy Daisy Book Whore blog for an honest review...well honestly I love love love this book so much more than the first but I also appreciate that I wouldn't have the second without all the s*** that happened in the first. Just like my review for That's a Lie says that I never read any reviews before beginning the series...that is also true of this book. I didn't want to know what was coming. I just read the description and immediately I knew that this book would be even more awesome than the first. Also, I want to add that I finished this book last night before bed and I wanted to write my review in the morning with fresh eyes and to also let everything marinate. That was either a really bad idea or a really awesome one. I woke up thinking about this book. I couldn't get all my thoughts together with what I wanted to write about and I could not get over the epilogue. I let is soak in and it took over every thought while going through my morning routine. I guess you would have to say it was a good idea because if the book wasn't so freaking awesome it wouldn't have consumed my thoughts. So on with the review...

***Possible spoilers but I will try my best***
Obviously if you are reading this book you have read the first so you know some of the stuff that went down. We all fell in love with Josie but there were sometimes you just wanted to shake her and to tell her to wake up and be honest with herself and everyone around her. We fell in love with the "In front of Josie" side of Blake. We also meet Seth and love him too. I will admit that in book 1 I was partial to Blake with a really sweet spot for Seth. Then the end of the book came round and I was so so ready for this book 2.

Seth is back and he is back for the love of his life his Pussy Cat. When this book begins it gives a glimpse into the childhood friendship that Seth and Josie have had since they were 6 years old. Then it picks right up where we left off from book 1. The new thing that this book had that book 1 didn't is the dual POV and I am such a sucker and I love love love reading from the male POV. With this added bonus to the book we get to see another side of He who must not be named and you just really want to junk punch him. I know that Josie is partial to the face punch but he really deserves a little bit of junk punching...until the end when he comes to his senses and stops being such a tool.

In this book we learn so much more about Josie and who she was/is/and wants to be and it is all with the help from Seth. Josie's character in this book really opens up and realizes that keeping things in is just consuming her and getting her nowhere. So really get to see the honesty in the relationship that she has with Seth. He came back to town with one set goal and that goal was to win his girl and give her the life he knows they should have...only something happens pretty early on when Seth is just about to break down Josie's walls and she starts to push away all her romantic feelings about Seth and just wants to continue as friends. Seth is having none of that and this is why I love Seth Montgomery. He knows what his Pussy Cat needs and he isn't going to give up so easily.

This books flows smoothly and has a fast storyline so you are not stagnating in a story that is going nowhere. It covers so much and it is done well. This author knows how to spin a tale and leave you satisfied with what happens and in the last page she reels you right back in and you are salivating for more. I NEED more of this story because that epilogue was a doozy!!!

You will fall in love with Josie all over again...You will absolutely fallen love with Seth even more...You will be enjoy all the parts told in Seth's POV...and You will appreciate Seth's character because of things he reveals from book 1.

I absolutely hated this book...That's a Lie ;)

That's a Promise (Promises, Promises, #1)That's a Promise by Victoria Klahr
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

One-I was gifted this book for and honest review...Two- This book is freaking awesome...emotional but awesome...Three- The characters in this book are very well written...Four-This storyline in very intense, emotional and all things a great romance should have including a steamy triangle...Five- I am so glad that I was gifted this book...

Okay so I mentioned that I was gifted this book for an honest review provided by the author for Crazy Daisy Book Whore blog...so I read the description on both goodreads and amazon before I started reading, but I did not read the other reviews ( I usually do but I didn't this time). I am so glad that I didn't because I wouldn't have wanted to accidentally run across any spoilers.

So this book switches between present day and 4 years earlier...at one point it flashes to 10 years but it was important to the story. When we first meet Josie/Jo/Jos/Pussy Cat it is present day and tragedy has just struck her family. She is in this daze and then she looks around and sees someone from her past that she does not want to see at all...then it flashes back to 4 years ago and we start to unravel to story that had me captivated.

This book is filled with tons of fantistic parts as well as sad and emotional parts. I won't give any names or any other things that happen because obviously the description of this book wants to leave somethings for the readed to discover. It takes the entire book to discover every little thing but it is so worth it. At one point I kind of had things figured out but I just couldn't wait to know for sure. This book has some shocking revelations that make you want to both hate and love the two main characters. I am madly in love with this series already and I have to know what happens next. The epilogue definietly left me wanting more.

You will both love and hate Josie...you will want to punch her in the face at some point and tell her to woman up...you will feel her pain and want nothing more than to comfort her...most of all you will be rooting for her to find herself...That's a Promise ;)

Point of Return (Nordic Lords MC, #1)Point of Return by Stacey Lynn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was gifted this book for an honest review. I will try not to spoil anything.

First of all I would like to say Oh Nordic Lords this book is awesome and I am sure the next in the series will be just as awesome. This isn't your typical biker book but it also isn't you typical romance. It is by far the best one that I have read so far and I LOVE it. It has sex, guns, mayhem, murder, gun fights, death, tragedy and all sorts of other things that make for an excellent read.

The prologue of this book sets the tone for what we are in for right from the beginning. It isn't going to be sunshine and daisies. It's going to be blood, bullet wounds and bad ass bikers...and some pretty steamy sex. I love that this storyline just grew right from the beginning and just kept getting bigger right to the end. Nothing was rushed and every situation was well written even the ones you wished wouldn't have happened. You could feel the chemistry between Daemon and Liv front the very first time Liv lays eyes on Daemon outside the clinic.

This book has so many things going on but none of it is confusing or too farfetched to make for a believable read. All of the, let me call them side situations, that are introduced in this book have me ready to read the next ones in the series ASAP. Like Jules and Jaden...What will happen with that? Faith and Ryker...How bad ass is he? I would even like to see if Finn finds himself a lady whether he gets his own book or he is just added as a "side situation" I will be happy. Heck I am happy now. I was consumed by this book as soon as I started the prologue and I just couldn't wait to see it all play out.

I like that this book has plenty of action. I like that this book doesn't focus solely on the romance aspect of the story. I like that it is told in dual POV...I mean what is better than reading from a hot male perspective, right? I like that Liv finally accepted her role in life and stopped fighting who she really was and where she belonged. I like that all the big bad bikers rallied around and proved to be the right family for both Daemon and Liv. I also like that they are still big bad bikers with their rough ways. This book is very believable as a biker book and at no time was I ready to call bull$hit ;)

This is a great read and I recommend grabbing it as soon as it goes on sale. It will be 99 pennies the first week and it is set to release Tuesday April 22. Happy Reading!!!

The Proposition 4: The Ferro Family (The Proposition, #4)The Proposition 4: The Ferro Family by H.M. Ward
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was given and ARC of this book for my honest review...

Well, let me start by saying that even when she is down and half way out H.M. Ward can still produce some of the most awesome stories.

So, in this book we find out what is wrong with Bryan and I will be completely honest I am a little pissed as well as sad. In this book we get to see a little bit more of what is happening and somethings are starting to fall into place. Now the big mystery is what is that Queen Bitch Ferro thinks that Hallie knows?

As I have said in nearly every review this far...Neil is such a douche bag! I can't wait to see what happens with that situation as well as all the rest but that tool just gets on my nerves.

This book did not disappoint and I am more that satisfied with how the story is going and how it hints at what is yet to come in the next one. Also those steamy scenes did not disappoint either. I love these Ferro guys and as always I can not wait for my next Ferroine fix!
