Review ... The Valentine's Arrangement by Kelsie Leverich

The Valentine's Arrangement
A Hard Feelings Novel #1

The “emotional, spicy-hot story” (Belle's Book Bag) that propelled Kelsie Leverich to the New York Times bestseller list!
Tattoo artist Ronnie Clark is counting the days until Valentine’s Day is over. Ronnie doesn’t do romance. She doesn’t do flowers or dates, and she sure as hell doesn’t do love—not anymore. Love leads to heartbreak, and she’s vowed never to let herself get hurt again.

Sergeant First Class Kale Emerson is home on his midtour leave from Iraq, but he only has one thing on his mind—returning to his soldiers to finish leading their mission. He’s dedicated to his men and to his country, and he’s not interested in getting wrapped up in a distracting relationship…but casual sex, that’s a different story. From the moment he sees Ronnie, he wants her. And he agrees to her terms: no romance, no fluff—just passion.

But as their sexual chemistry ignites, the lines of their arrangement get blurry, and Ronnie starts to push Kale away. And when Kale realizes he’s found his match in this gorgeous razor-tongued woman who is hell-bent against love, winning her heart could be the toughest battle he has ever fought.

5 STARS

If you like hot sexy army men mixed with foul mouthed bad ass chicks then this book is a must read!
I met his author at RT15 and I enjoyed getting to know her and decided to read her books and I am super happy that I did.

Kale...that is one hot soldier, but he is so freaking sweet that it is unreal. He didn't only have the sexy going for him, but he had the full package that any girl would want...well any normal girl, but not Ronnie. She was a bit tough to win over, but she just could not deny her attraction to the her newest client. I really enjoyed the bits that are from Kale's perspective because I really love connecting with a great male character and Kale is definitely that.

Ronnie is one tough chick and she is at a point in her life where she is done taking peoples shit. She is not going to live for anyone but herself and I can completely understand once you find out that her fiancee is a cheating asshat. I love that she is a tattoo artist and that she is a sassy one too. I like that she is respected in her field and that soldiers from all over town make it a point to see her for ink. I like that her reputation brought her and Kale together for their first meet. And what a first meet it was...those two had some major chemistry right off the bat.

I really enjoyed the flow and pace of this book. It kept moving and never felt like it was lingering unnecessarily. Everything was addressed and all issues were closed with a satisfying ending. I will definitely be reading more of this authors work.
