Review ... Fall With Me by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Fall With Me

Jennifer L. Armentrout, New York Times bestselling author of the Wait for You series, delivers a new novel of first love, second chances, and scorching chemistry.

Eleven months ago, bartender and weird-shirt-wearing extraordinaire Roxy and Officer Reece Anders had a one night stand. Well, kind of. She's been in love with him since she was fifteen, and he wishes that night they shared never happened. She's sworn him off forever, but the past and future collide, forcing her to rely on the one man who broke her heart not once, but twice.

Her best friend since birth has been in a long-term care facility since he became a victim of a hate crime years ago, and the person who put him in there is out of prison and wanting to make amends with him and Roxy. She's not sure she has room for forgiveness in her and when she begins to receive frightening messages and is on the receiving end of escalating violence, she thinks she knows who is to blame. The man who already destroyed one life already.

But Reece isn't convinced. The threats are too personal, and even if Roxy doesn't believe him, he's not willing to let anyone hurt her. Including himself. He's already messed up more than once when it comes to Roxy and he's not going to let history repeat itself.

5 STARS

What a great new addition to the Wait For You Series. I love that we get the little bits of the previous characters ESPECIALLY Cam and Avery!

So, I really really like Roxy! What a fun character and some of the things she would say and think was too much at times, but also she was pretty awesome. I hate that she had such a hard time in life while she was so young. She had to go through something that I am sure was very tough considering all of the guilt she felt from that one night that changed the lives of her and her best friend.

Reece...now he is another great character. That is something that this author does...she makes me fall head over heels for the men in this series. I have yet to read books 2 and 3 but I know from book 1 that I already like those guys.

I really enjoyed getting to know these two characters and I LOVED their relationship. Roxy and Reece were crazy about each other and it just took one night for things to be brought to the surface...well even though they were a little slow on really getting things going...it was well worth the wait and well worth my time.

I liked the mystery element of this book as well. The fact that Roxy thought that her apartment was haunted was a bit funny, but at the same time I just knew that something was amiss. I loved how it all went down and how someone from Roxy's past help her in the present and to have a future. A great read from the start.
