I am loving these Burke brothers and their sister! I really love Sofie! She is such a fantastic female lead and I think her great character has cemented my love of this series. I can not wait for Dirty Past to be released this coming week.
This book is filled with quite a bit of tension, both angry and sexual. I loved Conner and Sofie's relationship and the way they were with each other. I liked that even though they had some time and some pretty heavy secrets between them, they just could not deny they way they felt about each other. That just by hearing that Sofie was back in their hometown, made him run to see her with his own eyes. That first encounter was so explosive and charged with so much tension. Not to mention the secret that Sofie had to share, which is quite a doozy of a life changer. What was the best part was how Conner and his family reacted to said secret. I loved that this secret brought the boys of Dirty B. to their knees.
I just really loved this story and I look forward to more of the Burke brothers.
