**I received an ARC for an honest review.**
This series is a quick and sexy read. I liked the professor aspect, especially the domineering sexy professor. Professor Tristan Everett is definitely what teacher dreams are made of. I liked him all around. I immediately liked his character and the wayward way of his thoughts when he laid eyes on Melanie after a couple of years.
Their relationship is riddled with sexual tension and explodes pretty quickly. I liked that even though Tristan wanted nothing more than to take Mel, he made her take the time to think what he told her through before he took her as his. Of course it starts off as just five days and boy what a steamy five days they were.
Both characters go through a ton of different emotions during their relationship and most are new to them and their personalities. I liked that Tristan was confused by his growing feelings towards Mel. I liked that even though it started out as lust and desire it quickly turned into more and neither one are willing to give it up. What made me fall in love with Tristan even more was his willingness to do whatever it took to be with Mel. He spent his adult life building his career and putting that first but when the time came and he knew that it was time for a change, I really loved him more.
There were somethings in this series that I cold have done without. Things that really didn't need to be in the book, but they did add a bit of the drama factor, but still they just felt inserted instead of part of the characters lives. It was odd that a lot of their past lives just kind of pop up instead of being mentioned from the beginning. I think at times the characters could have been a bit more developed outside of each other, but seeing as this is meant to be a quick erotic read I think it did it's job.
The ending to this series is great and I am glad that Mel got that little surprise one such a special day. I also liked that Tristan was such an amazing man and made sure that he always did what was best for Mel.
