I immediately liked the two best friend characters Emma and Megan. I loved that they have very different personalities, but that Megan's is what it takes for Emma to try something different. And boy did she try something different. 

Part One is a very quick read and it is very entertaining for such a short read. I found it funny and sexy, and Jai is definitely what made most of the sexy. I love that Emma's character is so refreshingly real and that when she gets tipsy she is so cute and funny. I also enjoy Jai's reaction to her when they meet at the bar.

He doesn’t let me finish. He lets go of my wrist and grabs my hips, lifting me up onto the bathroom counter. My breath catches in my throat as my shoulders collide with the mirror. He’s kissing my neck, his hands all over me, and I wrap my legs around his torso and run my hands through his hair.

        “I don’t want to be doing this,” I gasp, but we both know that’s not true. And he’s not technically my stepbrother yet.

Part two picks up right where part one ends and it is even funnier than the first part. I love Emma's internal dialogue when she is putting together bits of the night before and when she is trying to go to the bathroom.

The meet and greet dinner is a complete and utter disaster...well all the events leading up to the dinner. Her mother is quite funny and so is her sister. I love the first encounter when she realizes who he new stepbrother is and the encounter and the buffet table. 

Even with all the hilarious antics going on it does not take away from the sexual tension and the sexiness that is Jai. 

Part Three

Releasing July 3rd

STEP F*@K PART THREE

Again Part Three picks right up where part two ends. I really like that about this series. 

In this one I find myself growing wary of Emma and her back and forth but I do love that Jai is up for the task of rolling with it...well until he's not. 

All things wedding and family bonding  related are in full swing and the tensions are rising between Jai and Emma. At the beginning the sexual chemistry is off the charts but things soon come to a head. 

I liked that I could feel the tension between the characters and I found myself holding my breath just waiting to see what would happen. 

Part Four

Releasing July 10th

Things really start getting heated in Part Four. Tempers flare things are said and done and that make the tension between Jai and Emma really thicken. 

I like the passing of time in this book and that things didn't just work out right away. I liked that both characters grew a bit and realized what was missing from their lives. 

SERIES REVIEW

I really enjoyed the overall pace and story of this serial series. I like that there were some family growths and than some things were resolved for Jai and his dad. At times there were few inconsistencies that were a bit confusing but nothing to major. 

I would have liked a bit more closure at the end of the series. I felt like there should have been some sort of mention of the family after everything. But also by the ending it did reflect what they had both come to realize. It doesn't matter what other people think. I still would have liked the reactions of their families. I'd like to think that their families would be on board and completely understanding. 

That is just my honest opinion. This is a funny, heartwarming at times and sexy read. I definitely recommend reading this if you love serials.
