Synopsis:
He’s twenty-four. She’s eighteen.
His life is exactly the way he’s always wanted it to be...stable.
She’s quite possibly the very definition of unstable.
Noah saved her. Georgina never wanted to be saved.
Growing up, Noah Clark was passed from one relative to the next until he finally ended up living with his abusive, alcoholic uncle in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. Thanks in part to the unwavering love and support of his best friend, Ellie Turner, Noah survived those years, escaped his uncle, and grew into the man he is today. Now he runs his own business and lives a pretty normal, no-nonsense life—one where he maintains a high level of control.
Georgina is Ellie’s younger sister. Four months ago, Noah saved Georgie’s life, but he thought that was where his involvement with his friend’s sister would end. Now Georgie has returned home from the recovery facility her parents sent her away to and Noah, still haunted by the night that connects them, can’t stop himself from continuously trying to protect this girl he barely knows. But is he willing to give up all of the control he’s worked so hard to build in his life and risk everything for her? Even more importantly, would she do the same for him?

*** I received an ARC of from the Author for an honest review ***
This book is emotional, sweet and sexy. It is told in dual POV and I am a sucker for a good male POV. Noah Clark is such a fantastic male lead and his character is written very well. Georgie's characters is resilient and also very well written. I really enjoyed all of the characters and the way the author set them up for what is to come in the future was done really well.
I was hooked on this book right from the start and didn't want to put it down. When it opens Noah Clark has one of the worst experiences of his life but also ends up being the most rewarding whether he wants to admit it or not. I love that with the Dual POV we got all of Noah's thoughts and emotions throughout this book. I will just say that I LOVE Noah Clark.
Let's move into Georgie. When we first meet her it is in dire circumstances and you can't help but wonder what could cause the drastic measures she felt she needed to take. I will say that Georgie's character just might be one of my facorite female leads. She used her experience and really applied it to her life. I loved her personality and especially when she was with Noah.
The relationship that Noah and Geogie have is so sweet and sexy. I love that they both held such and attraction to one another and where both equally confused by it. I loved how they decided that they couldn't ignore it anymore and finally took the leap. I loved how Noah wanted to be a sweet and gentle lover but Georgie wanted him to take her with passion and boy did he. I enjoyed that their relationship grew in a believable way and so did their characters.
I was completely satisfied with the ending of this book and that the author left it open for more. I am looking forward to what comes next from the Kill Devil Hills gang.
