Review ... Bad Judgement by Meghan March

Bad Judgement by Meghan March

He’s arrogant.

She’s self-righteous.

I hate him.

I want her.

I’ve been turning him down for two years straight.

Every shut-down makes me work harder.

I’m not a one-night stand kind of girl.

She doesn’t realize I won’t settle for only one night.

He’s a distraction I don’t need.

She’ll say yes eventually because I’m not giving up.

My first read by this author and I enjoyed it. I liked the build up between these two characters and I liked that the author started from the beginning of their story. That I was left guessing as to what happened between them for the majority of the story. It was refreshing to just jump right into the way they began. Well, mostly the first two years of law school were left out but that was uneventful anyway...just a bunch of rejection.

I love that the theme of this book was all the bad judgement calls that Justine had made or had avoided making. The fact that this book was more than just wham bam, thank you ma'am was really refreshing also. I liked that the characters relationship grew over them studying together. The fact that Justine got to know Ryker and she was surprised at how wrong she had been about the person he was was also an added bonus to the storyline.

The sexy bits were pretty hot and heavy also and most definitely not part of any bad judgement. There was some emotional and heavy stuff to this book, but it didn't overwhelm the story and it was handled relatively drama free...well as drama free as you can get for a romance novel.

This was a quick and sexy read.
