Review ... Anti Stepbrother by Tijan

Anti Stepbrother by Tijan

He told me to settle.
He asked what was wrong with me.
He called me an easy target.
That was within minutes when I first met Caden Banks.
I labeled him an *sshole, but he was more than that. Arrogant. Smug. Alpha.

He was also to-die-for gorgeous, and my stepbrother’s fraternity brother.

Okay, yes I was a little naive, a tad bit socially awkward, and the smallest amount of stalker-ish, but if Caden Banks thought he could tell me what to do, he had another thing coming.

I came to college with daydreams about being with my stepbrother, but what if I fell for the anti-stepbrother instead?

I really enjoyed this book. I haven't read many books by this author, this is my second or third, but I do enjoy her writing style. I was able to connect with the characters in this book so well. Even though there wasn't much of Caden's POV I still felt a connection to his characters.

They way Caden and Summer's relationship processed at at a steady pace made this story even better. I liked that they became friends and form the beginning Caden seemed to have  soft spot for Summer and her crazy ways. That was something else that I liked, Summer's silliness and random thoughts that popped out of her mouth. I liked that her filter seemed to disappear and she became more of who she was supposed to be.

I am definitely Anti stepbrother as well, Kevin is a horrible stepbrother, friend and person. What a complete douche, the author did well writing his character too. You wanted to like him, then immediately hate, then like him again and by the end of it was most definitely ANTI STEPBROTHER.

This is a great New Adult read and I would recommend reading it if you like that angsty college scene. It was emotional and fun at the same time, oh with some sexy bits thrown in too. Oh the sexual tension that rolled off Summer and Caden, you could cut it with a knife.
