**I received an ARC for an honest review.**
I LOVED this story. I loved that this couple was older and mature. I loved that both characters were moving on from something in their lives that shaped the people they were. And I loved that both characters and their feelings began to change without them realizing it until it was too late.
Emme is a year old widow and is on a mission of sexual discovery. She isn't looking for love, relationships and anyone else baggage. All she wants is to get laid and boy does she pick the right guy. Merek Elliot is definitely one of those "mature" men that will capture any woman's attention. Even though Emme wasn't one of his usual "dates" he couldn't help his attraction to her and he was helpless to understand why he couldn't get her off his mind.
I enjoyed the relationship that grew with these two people and I loved the behind the scenes stuff that was happening and revealed later in the book. I liked that the two characters lives were more intertwined that I thought they would be and I also liked that neither one of them found it easy to forget the other.
The storyline kept me pulled in and reading for more. I just couldn't get enough of these two people and I was wanting more. The sexual chemistry that Merek and Emme shared was off the charts and sexy as hell. I love the comedy that was woven into each sexual situation. I loved that at 40 something Emme knew what she wanted...well mostly knew what she wanted.
I don't want to give anything away, because I really dislike that in a review, so I will just say that this book is great read. I loved these two 40 somethings.
