This is a great addition to the Fireside Series. When I read about Declan in book one I was immediately curious and ready for his story and the author didn't disappoint.

I really loved the protective nature that Declan had with Trina. The connection between both characters was instant and I love that it was both sided. That both characters realized it after they met and they both felt something.

The story line is set over a short period of time, but you are still able to connect with it and the characters. I loved that Trina's character grew so much from beginning to end. Declan's character was a perfect match for Trina. She needed someone to protect her, but also someone that would give her the freedoms that she didn't have for so long.

There is a little bit of suspense and moments that make you keep reading to find out what happens. There is a lot of sexy in this book but there is a lot of sweet as well.

I am really enjoying this series and can't wait for more.
