Genre: Contemporary Romance/Humor

Synopsis

Book Two in the More Than DC series by T.J. Tims

How would you feel if everyone that you love has kept secrets from you?

Well, Quincy Westley is sick of the shit. All she wants is to resolve the past and move on with the future. A future that she may not be prepared for.

After a weekend of spending time getting to know the half-sister she didn’t know existed, she’s attracted the attention of Kaine Alexander. With his help, Quincy can learn to successfully navigate her Westley family’s social circle.

Kaine is a man in charge. He’s the head of his family’s empire. It’s his way or… no, it’s just his way. When his mother meddles in the family business and has him presented with an ultimatum he’ll do anything to make sure he doesn’t lose it all; thumbing his nose at the challenge.

A deal has been struck.

When you add crazy friends, meddling family, and raw attraction, the lines of any deal can and will become blurred.

5 STARS!!!

***I received an ARC from the author for an honest review.***

I absolutely LOVE the books that TJ Tims writes and I really enjoy this story of Kaine and Quin. I also enjoy that the way that this book coincides with Lucas and Genevieve's book. I was so curious while reading More Than I Asked For when it would give little snippets into what was going on with others in the group.

This book did not disappoint in anyway. I love Quin and I loved being able to get her side of things during one of the hardest transitions in her life. At ten she loses her father and doesn't even know the extent of that loss, the as an adult she loses her mother, but she finds out that she has a half sister and that this half sister is so much more than she ever imagined. I really enjoyed getting Quin's view on the growing relationship between her newfound family. I also really enjoyed the way the relationship that she had with her younger sister and "The Aunts".

I really enjoyed getting to know the stuck up Kaine (Kai) also, I think he complimented Quin's character well just like she did his. I knew there was so much more to him when the girls crashed the guys night in MTIAF and Kai took Quin over his shoulder away from the rest...I knew that things were going to get interesting between the two and this book did not disappoint at all.

I look forward to more from this author and this series.
