The sizzling-hot Caldwell Brothers series—perfect for readers of J. S. Scott and Emma Chase—hits the Vegas strip as a bad-boy gambler from Detroit Rock City shows a single mom what it means to play for keeps.
For Morrison Caldwell, life is a game of chance. A high roller with a legendary poker face, he’s the wild card of the family, always chasing the next thrill and never staying put for long. The one place that always lures him back is Las Vegas, with its hot tables and even hotter women. He’s perfectly content to live his life as a series of one-night stands. But when a parking lot confrontation with a cocktail waitress takes a naughty turn, she leaves Morrison aching for another round.
After a long losing streak in Sin City, Hailey Poe is ready to get lucky. A steamy tryst with a cocky, mysterious stranger is the kind of no-strings encounter she’s been craving . . . until Morrison Caldwell asks for more than she’s willing to offer. But when Hailey’s controlling, soon-to-be ex-husband tries to take her daughter away, she can’t afford to turn down a helping hand. In this winner-takes-all game, Morrison is gambling with Hailey’s life—and her heart.

**I received an ARC for an honest review.**
What a sexy and a bit thrilling read. I loved all the added thrill/suspense of this read surrounding Hailey and her ex, Monte. It made the storyline so easy to be sucked into. Now, my favorite part of this read has to be Morrison Caldwell...well pretty much all the Caldwell's are pretty great, but Morrison is my kind of guy. I loved his open and honest personality as well as his all male personality. But what I loved most about him as that he was in touch with his softer side especially when it counted and when it was needed. And boy did Hailey need it.
I loved the way Morrison was with Hailey and especially the way he was with Marissa, Hailey's daughter. I loved that right from the meet their story just seemed to move right along and there never was a dull moment right from the start. I really enjoyed Hailey's strong personality and well and her dedication to being mother no matter the crappy circumstances surrounding her life before she could get out. I love that she always put her daughter's safety and needs first. The way that she always made her choices with Marissa in mind. I also liked that Morrison did the same. He really was "the best daddy eva" :)
I really liked the whole Caldwell family and I liked the way they are so open and welcoming. They are exactly what Hailey and her daughter needed to start their new life.
This book is filled with funny, sweet, lots of sexy and some heavy/emotional stuff. But what I really loved is that the characters didn't let themselves become victims of their circumstance. They rose above and strived to be better than the card life had dealt. I really liked the strength of the characters. I enjoyed the pace of this book, because it kept moving right along and kept me reading.
If you like sexy alpha males who are willing to put the needs of others above their own...just for little bit...then this book is for you, Morrison is for you.
