Uniquely Mine

A Fitz Series

When the latest string of murders, sweeping New York City, lands on Detective Fitzgerald S. Rodriguez’s desk, the signature evidence hits too close to home. Being unable to stop the murder of
his own mother has made Fitz a jaded man. Now he will stop at nothing to protect the one he loves.

Serial killer, Mark Chambers, is like a cat that preys on unsuspecting mice for sport. When a fresh kill no longer quenches his sexual appetite, he sets his sights on Makenna Justice. The fiery-redhead, with her emerald green eyes, ignites a fire in him that he hasn’t had since his first kill.

Time is of the essence for all three of them.

Mark must feed into his desires once more without leaving a
trail.

Fitz has to dig himself deep into a killer’s mind to catch
him.

And Makenna?—She just has to stay alive.

Women make it so easy for me. They think I’m broken and want to fix me. I let them try, but I’m not broken, so there is no fix for me. I have a need that only they can fill. I need to feel my hands around their throat, feel their bodies come to life with every smack on their ass. Every gasping breath makes my cock harder. If I close my eyes, I can feel each pulse of my blood surging forward. Women see me as the bad boy. The boy that needs to be rescued. They are the ones that need to be rescued—rescued from me. This one tonight is no different. New York, just another city filled with desperate women. It never ceases to amaze me how women are so nurturing. I’m beyond redemption, beyond repair and that suits me just fine.

5 Suspenseful STARS

**I received an ARC for an honest review.**

This is my second read by Theresa Sederholt and although the first wasn't really for me I absolutely LOVED this book. I loved the style and the overall flow of this book. I loved the storyline and that it was filled with such suspense and mystery. I loved the multiple POVs for added dimension in the plot. I loved that you easily connect with all characters even the ones that you want to meet an ugly end. I loved the way that she wove such a great tale that kept me draw in not just to one characters story but to all the characters stories.

Fitz is such a unique and strong lead male character and he sure has been through some terrible things that help explain the man the I met at the beginning of this book. I love that his character is such an open book and that he always says what is on his mind. I love that he is so loyal and protective over his family and that they are loyal and protective of him as well. I love that no matter how much he wants to keep his distance from Makenna during the nightmare that they are currently dealing with, he can't. He can no longer hide his feeling from her and he makes a decision that will seal their future.

I loved Makenna and the strength of her character especially considering the nightmare her life had become. I love that she was such an open book as well. I loved that even though it went against who she was, she followed Fitz's rules. Her love and devotion to her brother was so sincere and I loved seeing their interactions.

Andy and Stephens characters are some of the best ones of this book. They are some of the best supporting characters and boy do they support their family. I am not usually one for the M/M romance but I really enjoyed their relationship and the added look into their lives and their take on the situation.

I really liked the killer POV...literally. Mark Chambers was one twisted guy but I couldn't help but connect with his character. I hated him, but I also felt drawn to him and his life. I loved all the details of his life and the fact that the story was his too.

This book just has so much depth and dimension and I really enjoyed it. It kept me on the edge of my seat and always ready for more. They ending was great and I will definitely read more of the Fitz series.
