This books was such an sweet and emotional read. I loved both characters right off the bat even though at times I would become a bit annoyed with Corin and her "illnesses".
Although I did get frustrated with her I don't see how she could have been any other way with everything that she had been through. Losing both parents at such a young age is hard enough, but losing them by watching each of them die right in from of your eyes has got to do something irreversible to you. And I think considering that, Corin handled it the best way that she could considering her support was zero.
Beckett, I loved him. I loved his character throughout this book. He had such a great personality after he realized that his less than stellar personality wasn't the way to go. I liked that even though he did have some anger towards the thing he could no longer do, he still made the most of his life.
Corin and Beckett met at the exact time in their lives when they needed each other to survive the things that threatened to tear them apart. Corin needed someone to show her that she was more than what she thought she was and Beckett needed someone to help him live and love.
I really enjoyed this book and at times I bawled like a baby, but in the end I was smiling and loving every minute of this read.
