What a great read! This is my first book by this author and I absolutely loved it. It was full of all the things that I love most about romance books. It has the sweet, the funny, the sexy, the emotions, and even some heart heavy topics.
When I started this book I had no idea what I was in for with Battle and Faye. Battle is the typical non committed male lead character and Faye is your typical female character who believes in true love and wants it all. When they first meet you really want to hate Battle for being such an ass to Faye, but I think his sex appeal make up for it. I loved watching Faye grow from the Faye we first meet to the Faye at the end of this book. When this book opens Faye is a pushover who has had enough of her boyfriend Wyatt's way and sets out to make a new plan for her life. In her new life she wants Battle to be apart of it, but she just doesn't know about his terms. I enjoyed watching both their relationship and their characters grow. Both of them changed so much from the beginning to the end and it was so worth the read.
This is a great story and is a must read if you like romance with more than just instalove and unrealistic sex.
