** I received and ARC from the Author for an honest review. **
This is book 4 in the Love Series by Megan Smith. If you have not read books 1-3 then I strongly suggest you read those before attempting to read this book
This book is about Jaylinn and Cooper's relationship. We first met these two in the very beginning of the series. You knew that they are very close and you are very curious about their relationship and in this book you get the answers you are looking for.
Jaylinn is such a sweet girl. I have loved her character from the very beginning. She is very loyal and loving friend and sister. I was always curious to know what had happened to her, because I always had the feeling that she is carrying something a bit dark around with her. Her and Hunter did not have the greatest of childhoods because of their father.
Cooper's character is much like that of his twin brother Mason. Baseball hottie that definitely used his status and looks to his advantage, until that one night when everything changed. His relationship with Jaylinn changed and they became so close, but there was something holding Cooper back. He just couldn't let go of the past and the feeling of failure.
I hated when their relationship unraveled, but I also loved it too because I connected so much with the book. I felt the sinking feeling in my stomach when I knew things were changing for them...and not for the better. I felt choked up when things are revealed and they don't know how to fix them. My heart raced at all the right parts of the book. My palms were sweaty when the "curve ball" was thrown. Those are all the things that I need to feel at least once for the book to get 5 stars and boy did I through the emotions.
I am going to impatiently waiting for the next book in the series. The way this one ended was just so cryptic. What did Hunter need to tell Jaylinn? We already know what Jaylinn wants to tell Hunter. This series is such a great series. It keeps you wanting more and the story line and characters are very well written. You will fall in love with all of the Cahills & McCormicks.
