“Mae! Get your fuckin’ girl under control, we need to split!” The man with long blond hair who had killed Brother Noah, my redeemer, shouted behind Mae, his blue eyes harsh in his command. He kept watching me, his blue eyes intense. From the minute I had left the cell, he had stared at me, continued to stare at me still.
Mae’s dark lover whistled from beside him and indicated for us to follow with a wave of his hand, but fear seized my heart, and instinct caused me to flee.
“Lilah!” Mae’s voice screamed as I darted into the throng of terrified sisters. My head whipped from side to side as I tried to find a place to hide, and seeing an entrance to the forest, I lifted my feet and scrambled in that direction.
But before I had moved a few steps, a large body wrapped me in his arms and lifted me off the ground, preventing me from getting away.
I screamed and screamed as a strong, unyielding arm clad with leather wrapped around my waist. I was terrified, tears pouring down my face as his legs picked up speed and started running.
“Please…please let me go!” I begged, but a mouth suddenly placed at my ear cut off my voice, long blond strands of hair—not belonging to me—falling on my cheek.
“Nope. You’re coming with us, sweet cheeks, so stop trying to run this sexy ass away. Although, I could watch that fuckin’ perfect peach of a view all day long and never get tired of it. But Mae wants you at the club, so you’re fuckin’ coming to the club.”
My breathing hitched at how this blond outsider spoke to me and I froze in his arms, not daring to move, worrying that if I did, I might meet the same fate as the slain brothers on the ground. Then, as I carefully tuned my head, I saw who held me in his arms, carrying me as though I weighed nothing—the blond man from before. The one who kept staring at me like I was something he wanted to devour.
The same man, who when my eyes first met his, an ache throbbed within my chest.

So, I started this series at a point when I first started really falling in love with MC books and this series is one of the series that I am absolutely in love with. It is everything an MC book should be and more. There is a unique and crazy twist to this book that kept me gripped to my iPad reading like a woman possessed.
I find it so strange when I connect with two characters that are not your usual lovey dovey romance characters. The Hades Hangmen MC men are the epitome of what you would think of a MC. They are rough, murderous, foul mouthed, sexual, protective and in this case oh so hot. Ky caught my attention in the first book because he is known for his exceptionally good looks and his manwhoring ways, so I knew that when it was his turn to be knock off his bike and consumed with a woman it would be really awesome and all consuming.
Heart Recaptured kept me sucked in. I just had to know what would be happening with Ky and Lilah. After such a crazy meet and both of their histories I was curious to see how the author would make their relationship work. Their relationship started out so much differently than Mae and Styx, because Mae actually wanted out, she wanted life outside the wall and Styx had always dreamt of his wolf-eyed girl. But Ky made it a well know fact that he would never be "c**t-struck" and would keep to his dads advice, but what he didn't could on his a blonde haired, blue eyed bombshell who has spent all of her life being told that she is a 'Cursed Woman of Eve' who soul is tainted by satan himself to tempt all men with her beauty. A woman who has spent her life in a commune locked away with other 'Cursed Women of Eve' being abused all in the name of salvation.
Lilah never wanted to be free of the commune. She always accepted what she has been told her whole life since she didn't know any different. So, being forced to adjust to life outside the wall is not easy for her. She spend her days locked away with her sister Maddie and can not grasp living life with the men of Hades. She is drawn to Ky and is so confused by it and fights every feeling she has until the two are forced together by Styx to keep Mae happy. I loved getting to see Ky so different Lilah and I really enjoyed Lilah learning to trust and enjoy Ky's company. I really liked their relationship and the growth of it. It was not rushed or forced and I enjoyed every bit of this book, even the parts that made my jaws clench and my teeth grit.
This book is filled with all of the things that you would relate to an outlaw MC. I am not into spoilers, but I will say that this book is not sunshine and flowers. There is now super sappy moments to make you swoon. The romance in this book is awesome, but is not hearts and roses. It is well written, but not an easy read. There is some really tough stuff to read about and it not to be read lightly. If you like the darker romance then this series is for you. It is HIGHLY recommended that you read book one It Ain't Me Babe before reading this book . I can not wait for book three in this series, I want to know more about Flame and Maddie. Those two characters coming together will be one awesome story. I just know it.

Amazon & USA Today Best Selling Author, Tillie Cole, is a Northern girl through and through. She originates from a place called Teesside on that little but awesomely sunny (okay I exaggerate) Isle called Great Britain. She was brought up surrounded by her English rose mother -- a farmer's daughter, her crazy Scottish father, a savagely sarcastic sister and a multitude of rescue animals and horses.
Being a scary blend of Scottish and English, Tillie embraces both cultures; her English heritage through her love of HP sauce and freshly made Yorkshire Puddings, and her Scottish which is mostly demonstrated by her frighteningly foul-mouthed episodes of pure rage and her much loved dirty jokes.
Having been born and raised as a Teesside Smoggie, Tillie, at age nineteen, moved forty miles north to the 'Toon', Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, where she attended Newcastle University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts honours degree in Religious Studies. She returned two years later to complete a Post-Graduate Certificate in Teaching High School Social Studies.
