✧ Release Day for Found in Us by Layla Hagen ✧

Found in Us
by Layla Hagen

**This can be read as a STANDALONE. The second book in the Lost series tells Jessica and Parker's story.**

All Jessica wants -as a college graduate — is to be a good girl. She landed the job of her dreams at a museum and is trying to eliminate temptations. No more short skirts (when she can help it). No wild parties. And no men.

She particularly excels at that last thing. . .

Until her path crosses Parker’s. Again. Jessica remembers the last time their paths crossed very well. She was left with a seriously bruised ego. She knows it would be best to avoid him altogether. But the charming Brit makes it hard for her to elude his electrifying pull. He is as irresistible as he is captivating.

And enigmatic.

Because underneath the sleek Armani suit and the sweet British accent that makes her crave his touch, Parker isn’t the perfect gentleman everyone thinks he is.

He’s exactly what Jessica doesn’t want, but desperately needs.
A bad, bad boy.

** I received and ARC from the Author for an honest review**

Found in Us is as book 2 in the Lost Series by Layla Hagen and can be read as a standalone. I first met Parker and Jessica in Lost in Us and you just love both of their characters. If you read book 1 you know that Parker and Jess had a bit of a connection, but nothing came of it and not for lack of trying on Jess' part.

This book pretty much picks up right were book 1 left off. Jess has just moved to London with Dani (who we also meet in book 1) and is trying to start her life anew and be a responsible adult instead of the party girl she used to be. I loved Jess in book one although I did think that she was bit immature and depended on Serena too much. She definitely turned it around in this book and her character really opened up and I really connected with her. She has the ability to spin things for the better even when things are looking so down. I really enjoyed getting to know her character and understanding her and the way that she was before. What made her character even better was the way her and Parker complimented each other so well.

Now, I will get to Parker. In book 1 we meet him and you couldn't help but salivate over him as well. He is such a gentlemen, but Jess sees through his facade and has him pegged for not so gentlemanly. I really like that we get a bit of Parkers POV because it helps with connecting with his character even more. I like that early on Parker knows that he can not control himself around Jess and for him not to have control is scary for him. He has spent his adult life trying to keep his public image clean and keep his appearance as a true gentleman. Except when he can no longer resist Jess things get super steamy and he is anything but gentlemanly. Getting to know his character was pretty great especially with the big glimpse into his past and what makes him the way he is.

Let's talk about Jess and Parker together. Their relationship is so very sweet and very intense. I love the sexual chemistry and tension that they share. Jess brought out a side of Parker that no one really has seen and he opened up so much. Jess also opened up to Parker and they both learned to trust each other  which was very nice. I was really happy with the way this story played out. It flows smoothly and does not drag on unnecessarily.  The scenes are well written and definitely give you that tingly feeling. I got all the required feelings for this to be a 5 star read...the butterflies, sweaty palms, tingling, sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach and I even found myself smiling when things  went the way I was hoping.

I would recommend this book if you are looking for a sweet read with quite a bit the sexy naughty bits. I am looking forward to book 3 with Dani & tattoo guys story.
