We grabbed a couple of drinks from a gas station on our way back to my house. As we got out of the car and walked to my front door, the gentle roll of thunder sounded above us. My house is nearly sound proof, so I opened the windows in the living room and my bedroom so I could hear the thunder and the rain. Immediately the smell of summer permeated my house.

“Would you like to watch a movie?” I asked as Sam approached me.
He grabbed me, pulling me tight against him. “Sure,” he said, kissing me.
Sam looked for a movie while I went and changed clothes, suddenly needing to be in something more comfortable. I settled for a cute pair of baby blue soft cloth shorts and a white tank top. Comfy, but not boring.

When I returned, I realized that Sam obviously had something else in mind than I did. On my large flat screen TV was a whole hell of a lot of nudity. A rather gorgeous, and very well endowed man had made himself quite comfortable between his lover’s legs. She was attractive, not quite as fake as most female porn stars looked. She had long blonde hair and brown eyes and her skin was pale and contrasted nicely against her co-star’s darker olive toned skin. It reminded me quite a bit of Sam and me.

I turned to Sam and realized that my coffee table had been rigged up. It was covered with a blanket that had been folded over a few times and it was accompanied by a pillow. Around the legs I saw cuffs, but they weren’t metal. These were leather and had to be strapped closed, like a belt.

Sam moved to stand behind me. “Strip,” was the only thing he said...

Stayman, an enigma in Lainie’s close-knit group of friends, has been circling her with interest, trying to garner her attention. When circumstances make it clear who’s blocking his way—Mason—Stay goes full-court press in pursuit of Lainie.

An unexplainable mystical connection evolves between Lainie and Stay and she has to choose between a man she so hopelessly loves and a man who offers her everything she needs.

I slipped into the jacket and latched the repeating circles onto my wrist. The bottom of the coat stopped just where the broad lines of the dress changed from horizontal to vertical. “What do you think?” I asked Samantha.
“You look stunning,” a deep male voice responded. I turned around and found Stay smiling at me.
“Wow Stay,” Sam said before I could respond. “Looking mighty handsome. If I didn’t know any better, I’d think this is a date.”
Stayman looked sharp in his black dress pants, matching coat, and dark-gray dress shirt. I gazed at him but was at a loss for words. We stared at each other for a second.
Sam saved me by saying, “Stay, there’s a wire mannequin in the attic that I’d like brought down, and Lane and I can’t lift it. I wondered if you could do that for us. Not now. I wouldn’t want you to mess up your clothes, but—”
As he removed his coat, he said, “It shouldn’t take long and I’ll just take off my shirt.”
He started unbuttoning as both Samantha and I watched as he slowly revealed his chest. Stay slipped out of his shirt and laid it neatly on top of his jacket.
His smooth, lean torso was highly defined and I got caught staring at his chest. He winked at me and then said to Sam, “Come on and show me the way.”
Once they walked away, I glared into the mirror and said, “Don’t even think about it.”
Minutes later, he had managed to carry the mannequin down.
“Let’s put it in the back,” I said, leading the way. “It needs to be cleaned up before it can be out on the floor.” I showed him where to put it. Scanning his physique from his head to his shoes, I noticed that he continued to let his golden-brown hair grow in and chose to where black boots instead of dress shoes. To make matters worse, his five o’clock shadow was incredibly sexy. Damn, he looks hot. Look away girl, just look away!
“Here,” I said, holding out a lint roller, but not making eye contact.
Some dust had settled on the front of his pants just over the zipper area. “You don’t want to help?”
I turned away and said, “Go get dressed.”
“Are you sure that’s your final decision?”
“Very sure.” My rapidly beating heart settled down once his clothing was back on.
“Are you ready to go?” he asked.
“Let me go grab my clothes bag and my clutch and I will be.” Sam followed me into my office.
“He looks hot!” she exclaimed. “He must really like you. I’ve never seen him dressed up before.”
“Stop it,” I said, making sure my dress lay straight.
“Forget about MM for the night,” she said to me with a serious expression. She pulled the tag off my jacket.
“That’s not possible. Thanks for closing up and helping with the outfit.”
“No problem.

✮✮✮✮✮

** I was give a reviewers copy of this book for an honest review. **

This is book 3 in The Love Series by Megan Smith. Although it is written in Hailey and Mason's POVs which is different from books 1 & 2, you should really read those prior to this one for it all to come together. We meet Hailey and Mason in the beginning of the series.

When we first meet Hailey at the beginning of the series she is a very outgoing and feisty character. I loved her right off the bat. You could see her slowly changing over the course of the first two books as well as her relationship with Mason. You could tell that their relationship was not your everyday "lovey dovey" kind but a little more intense and very special. Hailey and Mason share a special connection ever since childhood.

When we first meet Mason you can tell he is the definitely the sexy, hot player type, but he does have a huge soft spot for Hailey. Mason has taken on role of protector in his family and makes it his mission to include Hailey in that. He is so protective of her, but when he finds out a secret that could potentially cause more drama within his family he puts them first before Hailey and their relationship falls apart. It is so hard to see them struggle with the fall out. Hailey was a mess and so was Mason. It put strain on their friendship as well as their family. I guess it was so hard cause you can feel there connection and the love that they clearly have for each other. I will admit that I was a bit frustrated with both of them and their stubbornness, but the one thing that I have learned from reading this series is nothing is just going to flow smoothly. There always has to be some major drama. Which makes the story line that much better.

I really love all the characters in this series. They are well written as well as the story. There is plenty of drama to keep you interested and to keep you reading so you can find out what will happen next. Even the crappy character, Bitchy Brittany and Loose Lily, are written so great that you can not help but hate them and snarl a little bit every time they come into the picture.

Let Me Love You, Book 4,  is due to release later this month and my review for that one will be up on my blog tour stop.
