Review Blitz ... Egomaniac by Vi Keeland

Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000038_00072]

The night I met Drew Jagger, he’d just broken into my new Park Avenue office.
I dialed 9-1-1 before proceeding to attack him with my fancy new Krav Maga skills.
He quickly restrained me, then chuckled, finding my attempted assault amusing.

Of course, my intruder had to be arrogant.
Only, turned out, he wasn’t an intruder at all.

Drew was the rightful occupant of my new office. He’d been on vacation while his posh space was renovated.
Which was how a scammer got away with leasing me office space that wasn’t really available for rent.
I was swindled out of ten grand.

The next day, after hours at the police station, Drew took pity on me and made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. In exchange for answering his phones while his secretary was out, he’d let me stay until I found a new place.
I probably should have acted grateful and kept my mouth shut when I overheard the advice he was spewing to his clients. But I couldn’t help giving him a piece of my mind.
I never expected my body to react every time we argued. Especially when that was all we seemed to be able to do.

The two of us were complete opposites. Drew was a bitter, angry, gorgeous-as-all-hell, destroyer of relationships. And my job was to help people save their marriages.
The only thing the two of us had in common was the space we were sharing.
And an attraction that was getting harder to deny by the day.

Another great read by this author. I was immediately sucked into this story from there very beginning. This couple was so much fun to get to know and boy do they have some off the charts chemistry. I loved their friendship and how it seemed to build to so much more in such a short time.

Emerie and Drew are amazing characters. I loved many of the character traits even their flaws. Drew is just one of those male leads that you fall in love with instantly. His personality and charm are so much fun to witness when he unleashes it on Emerie. I love her sassy mouth and her unwillingness to back down from him. The way they meet is pretty great and the way their relationship starts is not boring in any way.

This was a fun, sexy and a bit emotional real and I loved every word of it. I will always be on the look out for more from this author.

New Release and Review ... Surrender by Lisa Renee Jones

Surrender by Lisa Renee Jones

New York Times best-selling author Lisa Renee Jones returns with the third book in the sexy, suspenseful Careless Whispers series.

Passion burns fiercely hot between Ella Ferguson and Kayden Wilkens, the man who held secrets and lies in his hands, and then allowed them to fall into hers. But even though he has become her anchor - helping her recover from amnesia after finding her unconscious in an alley, and allowing her into his secret world - all is not what it seems. Kayden still has secrets, and pieces of Ella's past are still shrouded in the darkness of her mind, while the powerful man who hunts her will not stop until she is his. In this final, explosive novel in the Careless Whispers series, Ella discovers that while her life with Kayden didn't begin in that dark could easily end there.

*Third book in the Careless Whispers Series. Can NOT be read as a standalone.*

What a great end to a very suspenseful series. I was hooked from the very first book. This author has a knack for this type of book and she does so well keeping me drawn in and wanting more.

In this book things are going at a steady pace, but there is nothing left out and everything is eventually answered. Ella get the answers that she has been looking for about her past. She finds out who she was before waking up with no memories in the first book, Denial. Everything starts falling into place and sheds so much light of all of the doubt that has been surrounding Ella and Kayden. I hate that there were people in this book that betrayed them, but I think the author did an excellent job of keeping you guess until the very moment when things are revealed.

I definitely recommend this series starting with Denial (only 99¢ right now), then Demand and then Surrender.
